About Yasser

I am a technology leader, solution delivery executive, and educator. My career spans software engineering at IBM, leadership of enterprise education systems, and delivery of cloud-based SaaS implementations at Fujitsu Canada.

As founder and CEO of EmergingTech Solutions Inc., I have led consulting work in software development, IT programs, and delivery governance. That experience connects business needs with architecture, implementation, deployment, and ongoing operations.

I also teach at Seneca Polytechnic and previously taught at Conestoga College. Working directly with educators and student project teams brings a practical understanding of course delivery, learning platforms, assessment, and feedback.

Led end-to-end delivery of two Aspen Student Information System SaaS implementations on Microsoft Azure, coordinating cloud engineering, application delivery, data migration, security, and stakeholders.

Education systems delivery · 2007–2018

Enterprise platforms for Ontario school boards

Led development, delivery, and operations for ECNO’s K212 HR, payroll, finance, and employee self-service systems supporting 72 Ontario school boards. Responsibilities covered implementations, releases, service reliability, and support.

IBM · 2000–2006

Software engineering & global release delivery

Worked on Eclipse CDT, C/C++ compiler tooling, and WebSphere Integration Developer. Led build and release operations supporting distributed teams and enterprise software quality.
